About

Lenart De Bock is a Slovenian musician and composer born on January 26th, 1998. He finished his master studies with honours at the Unitversity Of Performing Arts in Graz, Austria on February, 2025, specializing in jazz saxophone. During his career he has been featured on over 10 recordings as a sideman and on one of them as a co-leader and composer. He had the honour of studying or playing with great names in jazz such as Jim Rotondi, Rick Margitza, Dick Oatts, Tomaž Gajšt, Marko Churnchetz, Daniel Nösig, Julian Argüelles, Oswaldo Amorim, Joao Moreira, Pablo Fagundes and more. He is currently co-leading the trio Soothsayer and is a member of the collective called Zhlehtet and has also recently formed his own quintet.
